Disney’s America: Service & Sacrifice Kiosk
Project: Produced walk-through kiosk for Disney executive Michael Eisner on the subject of an “American soldier’s story”. Materials used included stills, three-dimensional objects, and a viewing booth that played a short video. Original video provided a soldier’s eye view of war and sacrifice, using feature film and documentary clips and music.
Detail: Kiosk was one of several created for a planned theme park of American history, to be constructed on protected farmland in Virginia. A controversy over land preservation and runaway development was one element in the shelving of the theme park.
